So what started as a seemingly normal Saturday at GRS turned in to an interesting and unusual repair day. Everything was quiet, just the normal day to day repairs–returning customer service emails, returning voice mail and getting the shop ready for the Saturday rush of walk-in customers that the shop normally receives. But then Bob the mail delivery man shows up with all of the repairs from around the US and our normal Saturday repair day turns, well………a little strange……
So the question for today is, if it walks like a Duck and it quacks like a Duck is it in fact a Duck? Upon first look it actually looks like an iPhone. A little one that is. With the home key on the bottom and the silver bezel around the frame and even the ear piece at the top if there wasn’t an iPhone next to it you could accidentally mistake this little rascal for an iPhone. Although the dead give away is the long radio like antenna that the Mini Me has, tells us this is far from the real deal.
Unfortunately for this little guy, parts are not readily available and would be like finding a needle in a hay stack. It will most likely end up in phone heaven and will forever be in the GRS Wanna Be Hall of Fame.
